greetings from
township
township is an invite-only gpsl set in the fictional town of hillford, new york, roughly 50 miles outside of new york city. though the town itself is fictional, it is geographically located in fort montgomery, new york so please feel free to use that as a guide for weather. for more information on the town of hillford, head on over to our faqs

The rules as far as rules go, they're simple (after all, we've all been doing this long enough). be respectful, have fun, be as dramatic as you want ic but never ooc. it's 2022, the world is crazy enough without people needing to deal with it in their hobby.

applying

Once you've finished reading through everything, feel free to apply here using an ic or ooc journal. please, no extra letters, numbers, or underscores. before applying you should have both an ic contact/spam post and an ooc post with comments screened on the latter, both of which should be backdated. your ooc should post should include the following information:
the basics and a 100 word BIO. we'll accept either bullet point facts or a full written bio. it's completely up to you.
Once you've been added to the community, you have 72 hours to post an intro to hillford, participate in an ffa, or post an update in your journal.

et cetera

activity we ask that you participate in group activities when you can, as we understand people are busy and can't be around for everything, and update your journal at least twice a month.

wire is completely optional and not required. we know some people prefer it, others don't. since this is a gpsl, we will be posting journal based group chats for everyone to participate in.

hiatuses & extensions life happens and we're completely understanding of that. just let us know in the member's only post and we'll be more than happy to grant either one of those. we do ask that if you are requesting a hiatus, you give us a rough idea of when you'll be back. if for whatever reason you need longer, again, just let us know!
